Ingredients for Upper Crust

Maida 1 Cup

Sugar Powder Half Cup

Ilaychi Powder ¼ (Quarter) tsp

Ghee 1 tsp

Salt a pinch

Ingredients for Filling

Mawa or Khoya 1 Cup

Condensed milk ½ cup

Ghee 1 tsp

Roasted mixed nuts chopped 2 tsp

Cookie cutter

Instruction for Filling

1Roast the Mawa on low flame for 10 mts in a heavy bottom pan till brown colour.

2Add condensed milk and roast for 5 mts again.

3Add chopped nuts and gas off.

4Grease the plate and spread the mixture on it, and keep it for some time, after 30 mts cut it with the help of circle shape cookie cutter.

Instruction for Pie

1Take maida in a bowl, add sugar powder, ghee, ilaychi powder, and mix all.

2Add water and make a soft dough, and keep it for 15 mts.

3Make rectangle shape roti approximate 3 inches , for a pie we need 2 rectangle shape roti.

4Fill above mention filling between these 2 rectangle shape roti and press all corners as well as edged with the help of fork.

5Preheat the oven and bake the pie on 180 degree for 15 min.till Golden brown colour.

6Peda pie is ready.

6After few minutes, sprinkle icing sugar and serve with chocolate sauce.
